Karst cliffs, a private balcony, and 2 nights. I love the balcony cabin feel, especially when the bay turns quiet, and I also love the spring-roll cooking class because you eat what you learn. One thing to consider, though, is that the bay can feel busy at peak times, and that can affect how enjoyable the swimming stops are.
From Hanoi, the day starts with an organized hotel pickup and a limo ride to Tuan Chau Port. Once you’re on board, you’ll get English guidance, a relaxed tea-and-sunset moment, and activities paced enough that you do not feel like you’re sprinting from one thing to the next. I also liked that the crew had strong service notes, including help tied to Mr. Truong Pham Xuan and a guide named Minh in the onboard experience.
